As many of you know, I spent time traveling through Nepal during the making of my Slow Road to China collection. At every turn I was met with incredible warmth and hospitality, and the humility and graciousness of the people I met there left a lasting impression.
While on assignment there, I partnered with a non-profit called The Nepal Trust, an organization that provides health services for some of the poorest and most remote regions of the area. I toured their facilities in the villages of Humla, met with their volunteer staff, and spoke with residents in the communities they serve. Their impact is real and substantial.
In response to the recent earthquake disaster, The Nepal Trust has setup a donation page via JustGiving to provide relief services, including clean water and shelter, for those affected by this devastating tragedy.
