About Your Guide

Drew Doggett is known for his award-winning fine art photography and ‘Vogue meets Nat Geo’ approach.

His work has been recognized by CNN, The Wall Street Journal, Architectural Digest, Forbes, Bloomberg, Elle Decor, and more. It can be found in hundreds of private and public collections in over 20 countries, as well as the permanent collections of the Waldorf Astoria, the Four Seasons, and the Smithsonian African Art Museum.

He has authored several best-selling photography books, including one that rose to the top 100 books across Amazon.

When he’s not traveling to create his work, he shares his love of the wild places on Earth through guiding small group expeditions to Africa, the Arctic, the Middle East, and beyond.

Nestled at the base of Uçhisar castle, the highest point in the region, our lovely hotel offers both cave rooms, or rooms carved out of the rockface, and rooms with traditional arches, as is the local style, lovingly decorated with local antiques. Enjoy breakfast each morning overlooking the valley below, or book a massage in the hammam (Turkish bath). As your guide, Drew is happy to give as much or as little instruction as you'd like, including assistance in the field and editing sessions back at our hotel, both as a group and in one-on-one sessions.
